The SATIR All Purpose Core (APC) is newest core to replace the UPC model. This core is ideal for monitoring process control in areas such as Substations, Power Plants and Switchgear. It can also be used to monitor conveyor belts to check bearings as when these are broken, they can cause friction which generates heat, that can be detected by the 256×192 IR detector.
