The miniature design pressure transducer is space saving and light weight. Despite the compressed dimensions and miniaturised design, it is all made of stainless steel and very robust. At the same time, it is full of know-how and can be customised to individual requirements such as pressure range or output signal. Popular applications for these sensors are motor sport and racing cars.
This pressure transducer series is designed and developed for applications with restrictions in space or weight. These are available in small pressure ranges of up to 20 bar in a housing version of Ø15mm outside and M10x1 pressure connection. For pressure ranges of 20 bar and up to 600 bar a version with a Ø12mm outside diameter an M8x1 thread is available.
The total length of about 50mm (including thread and cable outlet) and the total weight of about 50 grams gives space and room for applications with space and weight limitations and best solutions to integrate the sensors as embedded sensors. Typical output signals are ratiometric voltage output as well as voltage output up to 5Vdc with a 12V supply. Optional low power supply of down to 2.8V can be provided as well as a I2C digital output.
Products from this series can be supplied with a pressure port restrictor to reduce pressure spikes especially in hydraulic systems. The diameters of the restrictors are 0.6mm or 0.3mm. The pressure port and stainless steel sense element are completely electron beam welded and provide save over pressure and burst ratings.
